Munster rugby alternate kit revealed

Munster have today unveiled their new alternate kit for the upcoming season

Supposedly the new jersey design has been inspired by battle armour worn by past kings of Munster. Kit manufacturer Adidas say the grey jersey has an antler based tapestry in the design and the crest is a timeless silver trim.

This season over 800 Munster fans across a huge variety of creative backgrounds applied to get in on the action with the unveiling of the alternate jersey. Digitally sharp supporters were then chosen to create their own unique bit of content for the brand new jersey.

The 10 lucky fans that were chosen were then brought to Thomond Park and under the guidance of Adidas’ and Life Style Sports creative digital team they had to create an individual way of unveiling the kit. The fans in the project have shared their involvement across social media using the hashtag #NextIsEverything

The replica of the kit starts at €80, kids at €65-75 and the test version, worn by the players at €100.
