Munster Senior Cup quarter final draw complete while Junior Cup times and venues confirmed

The draw for the quarter-finals of the Munster Schools Senior Cup was made on Thursday with just one Limerick school getting the benefit of a home draw.

Crescent College will host Rockwell College, while Ardscoil Ris, who saw off St Munchin’s on Wednesday, will travel to take on champions PBC.

Last year’s runners up Glenstal Abbey will travel to take on Bandon Grammar while St Clement’s College are in Cork to face CBC.

Crescent College Comprehensive v Rockwell College

CBC v St Clement’s College

Bandon Grammar School v Glenstal Abbey

Meanwhile the times and venues for the Junior Cup quarter final ties have been confirmed.

St Munchin’s and St Clement’s will go head-to-head in an all-Limerick final, following a dramatic win for St Clement’s over Glenstal Abbey in their play-off at UL and St Munchin’s opening round victory over Bandon Grammar.

Crescent College and Castleroy College are both at home for their quarter-final ties with PBC and Bandon Grammar respectively.

Crescent overcame St Clement’s and Castleroy defeated PBC in the first round of competition, while PBC claimed a win over Ardscoil in the play-off round and Bandon Grammar received a BYE.

Castleroy College v Bandon Grammar School, Tuesday 30 January, Garryowen FC (kick-off 2.30pm)

St Munchin’s College v St Clement’s College, Tuesday 30 January, Young Munster RFC (kick-off 2.30pm)

Rockwell College v CBC, Wednesday 31 January, Clanwilliam FC (kick-off 2.30pm)

Crescent College v PBC, Wednesday 31 January, UL (kick-off 2.30pm)

The semi-finals of the Junior Cup will be played on the week beginning February 19 and the Senior Cup will begin on the week of February 26.

The final of the Junior Cup take place on the week beginning March 5 with the Senior Cup final on Sunday, March 18.
