Munster Women’s side named ahead of Interprovincial decider

Munster take on Leinster on Saturday in Thomond Park

Laura Guest has named her final squad of this years Women’s Interprovincial campaign today ahead of their crucial tie with Leinster on Saturday. There are two changes to the side the defeated Ulster last weekend with Anna Caplice coming in at No. 8 and Ciara Griffin moving to blindside flanker.

Siobhan Fleming will remain as captain and will be joined in the backrow with Caplice and Griffin.

The experienced front row of Fiona Hayes, Gillian Bourke and Fiona Reidy will be joined in the second row by Siobhan McCarthy and Chloe Pearse.

Laura O’Mahony, Laura Sheehan and Syphonia Pua make up the back three with Aine Staunton and Niamh Kavanagh in the centre’s. Ellen Murphy and Rachel Allen will continue their successful half back partnership too.

Deirbhile Nic a Bhaird joins the bench with Leah Lyons, Maura Collins, Zoe Grattage, Roisin Ormond, Edel Murphy, Christine Arthurs and Valerie Powers also named among the replacements
