WATCH: Na Piarsaigh Camogie captain Katie Campbell shares her thoughts ahead of Championship opener

Na Piarsaigh have an extra week of preparation due to their bye week being in round 1. Preparation has been the sole focus for this Na Piarsaigh side over the past number of months due to them not participating in the summer league.

With an intense training regime and a number of challenge matches under this Na Piarsaigh side’s belt, they will be all set for their maiden clash with Killeedy in round 2.

“We’ve kind of been an up and coming team the last couple of years, but our aim this year would be to break into that top four. Ahane, Grannagh, Newcastle West and Killeedy have really dominated the top four and semi-final spots for the last good number of years so we really would be hoping to try and push for a spot in that top four this year.”

Na Piarsaigh Captain Katie Campbell

With their bye week coming early in round 1, Na Piarsaigh will have to make the most of their round 2 clash against Killeedy and their round 3 clash with Granagh Ballingarry.
