Munster will have a new look coaching ticket for the upcoming season.
Preparations have begun for Munster as they kicked off their pre-season for the 2022/23 season in UL yesterday.
The province have a new look coaching ticket for the season with Graham Rowntree the new Head Coach and Denis Leamy, Mike Prendergast and Andi Kyriacou as coaches.
On the player front, there are three new signings as well as a number of Academy graduates.
Malakai Fekitoa, Antoine Frisch and Chris Moore are the new additions with Scott Buckley, Paddy Kelly, Alex Kendellen, Eoin O’Connor and Paddy Patterson progressing from the Academy.
The Ireland Internationals and Ireland U20s representatives who were in action in New Zealand and Italy respectively will enjoy a rest period for the coming weeks before they make their return to the UL training base.
Munster are preparing for the upcoming season which will kick off with a pair of friendlies. They welcome Premiership sides Gloucester Rugby and London Irish to Musgrave Park on Friday, August 26 and Friday, September 2 respectively.
Attention will then turn to the September kick off of the URC. Fixtures for the domestic league will be released in mid-August.
Munster will be looking for their first piece of silverware in over a decade with their lengthy search ending at the Champions Cup and URC quarter-final stages last season.
