ODDS | Na Piarsaigh favourites to claim Limerick SHC title back

This Thursday will see the return of the Bon Secours Limerick Senior Hurling Championship.

Na Piarsaigh are favourites to move joint-fifth in the all-time winners list of the Limerick SHC and bring home the John Daly Cup this year according to the Paddy Power odds.

Priced at 4/6, the 2020 champions are heavy favourites to clinch their seventh title, despite crashing out in the semi-final last year to Patrickswell who will be without 2021 HOTY Cian Lynch for the foreseeable future due to injury.

The north Limerick side are followed by familiar faces, with season regulars Doon (5/1), Patrickswell (11/2) and defedning champions Kilmallock (11/2) the next favourites.

You would have to back to 2016 to find a Limerick SHC Final that didn’t contain one of the four teams, when Ballybrown were defeated by the championship’s most successful side, Patrickswell.

Newly promoted Mungret St Pauls are priced at 50/1 in their first Limerick SHC since the ’90s, level with first round opponents Kildimo Pallaskenry.
