Odds On | The Munster Hurling Championship and Limerick’s Odds to make it four in a row

With the Allianz Hurling league finished we look ahead to the Munster Championship and how good Limerick’s chances are to go all the way.

John Kiely and his limerick side look to put the Allianz Hurling League behind them as they set their sights on the Munster Hurling Championship.

Limerick had a rocky league campaign this year as they only managed to win one game throughout their five league games. A draw against Clare was their only other point securing game throughout the league season.

John Kiely’s men looked to figure out how to get back to their previous winning form in their final few games, which is a positive for the All-Ireland Champions going into the Munster Championship.

Looking ahead to the championship, Limerick will still be feared by the other teams as being All-Ireland Champions brings a winning aura wherever the team goes. Looking at the Shannonsiders previous performances in the Munster Championship, they will certainly be a force to be reckoned with.

Limerick have the advantage of having recent history on their side, the Shannonsiders have won the Munster Championship in 2019, 2020, 2021. Looking to make it four in a row, Limerick will have a renewed drive as they look to improve upon their league performance and leave their mark as one of the best hurling teams in recent memory.

The odds for Limerick to go all the way in the Championship has them as the overall favourites. Paddy Power has their odds at 8/11, with Wexford coming behind them as second the favourites with the odds of 5/2.

Other betting services such as Bet365 have Limerick’s odds of winning at 5/6 and Betfair have the All-Ireland Champions at 8/11.

With Limerick out in front as favourites for the championship it will be interesting to see if John Kiely’s side can improve upon their league form and start off the championship with a big win.

Limerick’s first fixture against Cork will take place on the 17th of April.
