Limerick defeated Brian Lohan’s Clare side in Spain over the weekend.

The Shannon Airport Cup was won by Ollie Moran’s Limerick side over the weekend after defeating age old rivals Clare, who were captained by Brian Lohan.

The event was run by Limerick company Golf Voyager and saw a Ryder Cup styled competition with players selected according to county allegiance. La Cala Golf Resort in Spain was the venue and Limerick claimed the inaugural title.
