POLL | Picking a combined Newcastle West & Adare XV ahead of SFC Final

It will be a repeat of the 2021 decider when the teams meet in Kilmallock this Sunday.

Newcastle West and Adare do battle in a third Limerick Senior Football Championship final in six years this Sunday in Kilmallock.

Between them, the sides have won each of the last five championship titles on offer, Adare with three while defending champions Newcastle have won a pair in that time.

That trend will continue on Sunday with the sides doing battle in a repeat of last year’s final where the Magpies came out on top, avenging the result of the 2017 final.

There is talent aplenty across the teams and as such we want you to pick your best combined XV ahead of the decider.

Unfortunately, Adare have been without a number of key players through injury for the entirety of the season with Hugh Bourke, Eoin Ryan, Eoin Costello and Gareth Sparling unavailable for the final and also for the voting. Last year’s final goalscorer AJ O’Connor has missed the majority of the campaign thus far owing to commitments with the Irish amateur side and so misses out on selection.

Use the form below to make your choices with players who featured in the semi-finals up for selection.

If that doesn’t load, click here.

Picking a combined NCW and Adare XV ahead of Sunday’s SFC Final.

The results will be revealed on Thursday evening.
