Potential Qualifier opponents for Limerick footballers

There are 11 potential opponents Limerick footballers could face in the opening round of the qualifiers on June 24.

Wexford, London and Fermanagh are already in the pot with Limerick. There will be four more in the pot who will be decided after these games between Cavan/Monaghan; Down/Armagh; Dublin/Carlow and Offaly/Westmeath.

Limerick will find out who they will face on Monday June 12. They will have two weeks then to prepare for their opponent.

Should Limerick prevail in the first round, they will face a beaten provincial semi finalist in round two of the qualifiers on July 8.

Billy Lee’s men suffered a one point defeat to Clare in the first round of the Munster Championship last weekend and will now regroup and will be hoping for a favourable draw preferably at home.
