PREVIEW: Limerick take on Cork in the Munster Minor Camogie Championship final

Limerick face Cork in the 2021 final of the Munster Camogie Championship in Castle Road tonight Tuesday 13th July at 7:15 pm.

Limerick earned their ticket in the final thanks to a convincing 1-7 to 2-7 win over Clare.

Chris Mortell’s side avenged last years disappointment with a hard earned place in the Munster Championship final after losing in last years semi-final to rivals Clare.

In this year’s last four tie with the Banner, Limerick dominated the first period, holding a 0-6 to 0-2 lead at the half.

Amy Burke had Limerick’s first goal shortly after the restart with Maggie English adding a second.

From here Limerick held out resolutely to boo their place in the decider.

They face a Cork side who convincingly overcame Waterford 5-18 to 1-6 in the other semi-final.

Ahead f the clash, Mortell has named his side with one change to the starting XV.

Ella Hession who performed so well against Clare is named from the start with Lizanna Boylan and Laura Frawley swapping positions.
