John Kiely was announced as Limerick manager in late 2016 after guiding the U21s to All-Ireland honours in 2015.

In his three full seasons in charge, Kiely has lead Limerick to a first All-Ireland title in 45-years as well as a Munster Championship and League honours.

His side were in top form prior to the suspension of the GAA season with five wins from five in the league.
