The margin of victory did little to flatter the Abbeyfeale men who were imperious throughout.
Fr Caseys sent out a statement of intent in the Limerick SFC to make it three from three.
The Abbeyfeale men were comfortable 0-15 to 0-8 winners over Monaleen in Mick Neville Park to maintain their place atop group one.
Caseys held a double scores 0-8 to 0-4 lead at the break and restricted the City men to just two points from play over the course of the game.
The West outfit should have had a goal with their first attack, dispossessing Monaleen inside their ‘45 but David Ward was forced to fire over with Donal O’Sullivan pressuring.
O’Sullivan got Monaleen off the mark from a free, and he would add their next two scores with the sides level three times inside ten minutes.
Lorcan Lyons had Monaleen’s first score from play to make it 0-4 to 0-3 but from here Caseys dominated.
A beauty from Cormac Roche was followed by an equally good score from Adrian Enright with Caseys holding the lead from here on out.
Dylan Quirke and the impressive Rory O’Brien added further scores for the half time lead.
Caseys had the first score after the interval and it was one way traffic for most of the second half.
Enright made it a five point game while Sean Kilbridge pushed it out to 0-12 to 0-6 after 42 minutes.
The evergreen John Riordan had the Abbeyfeale side eight to the good with five to play.
And with Monaleen pushing hard, Caseys never looked in real trouble, adding a couple more to move two clear of Newcastle and more importantly, four ahead of tonight’s opponents in the group.
On Friday night, champions Newcastle West take on Galbally while Oola and Claughaun meet on Sunday evening.
