Seven changes as Kiely names Limerick Senior Hurling team to take on Cork

Limerick face Cork in the 4th Round of the National Hurling League on Saturday at 7.15pm in the LIT Gaelic Grounds.

John Kiely has named his side to take on the Rebels with seven changes to the team that were defeated by Waterford in Round 3.

There is a first start for 19-year-old Colin Coughlan who is named at wing-back.

Barry Murphy is named among the substitutes for the first time since 2019.

Elsewhere, Barry Hennessy and Pat Ryan get their first starts of the year. Diarmaid Byrnes returns to the team as Barry Nash moves into the corner.

William O’Donoghue is named in midfield while his clubmate David Dempsey is selected at wing forward.

Richie English is the only player to be named from the start in each game thus far.
