Munster made it three from three on Monday night as they beat Cardiff in an exciting Monday night game in Thomond Park.
One player who excelled on the night was Darren Sweetnam who says he is enjoying playing with freedom under Stephen Larkham as shown by Munster’s exquisite offloading try that saw JJ Hanrahan touch down.
“He gives us wingers a lot of freedom to get off our wing and go looking for work to get involved. With Steve’s system it’s easier to get involved and I’m enjoying it.”
That game was played behind closed doors and Sweetnam is hoping that it isn’t too long more before people will be allowed back into the stadium.
“It’s not the same playing without the fans. Obviously the whole thing about playing in Thomond Park is running out in front of the 25,000 fans. It’s the best of a bad situation but hopefully over the next few months they will be back.”
Munster play the Dragons in the Guinness Pro 14 this Sunday at 1pm in Newport.
