#UBLTry of the Month initiative to recognise the outstanding team and individual scores from Div1a to Div2c

#UBLTry of the Month initiative to recognise the outstanding team and individual scores from Div1a to Div2c.

Each month Clubs are invited to post the best tries from their UBL fixtures on the Club’s Twitter, Facebook or Instagram page using the hashtag #UBLTry and tag @irishrugby and @ulsterbankrugby. Any try scored in an Ulster Bank League fixture is eligible for entry.4

This stunning try scored by Robin Copeland for Young Munster against Cork Constitution last season would have surely been in the running last season.

The scorer of #UBLTry of the Month will receive a voucher for €250 and each of the monthly winners will be entered into a #UBLTry of the Season competition with the overall winner collecting an award at annual Ulster Bank League Awards.

IRFU President, Philip Orr, commented, “The Clubs are the core of our game and the Ulster Bank Leagues is at the pinnacle of the club game. I would like to thank Ulster Bank for its continued support of our Clubs and its support of the Try of the Month initiative which will highlight the quality and talent that is displayed week in week out across all five divisions.”

Director of Customer Experience & Products (Interim) at Ulster Bank, Joe Heneghan said, “We are delighted to continue our involvement in the Ulster Bank League and we are thrilled to announce the new #UBLTry of the Month initiative. We want to encourage clubs to get involved and nominate the best tries from their UBL fixtures on the club’s Twitter, Facebook or Instagram pages using the hashtags #UBLTry and tag @irishrugby and @ulsterbankrugby. We would like to take this opportunity to wish all the players and clubs the best of luck for the season ahead.”
