Victories for both Limerick Celtics sides in National League action

Limerick Sport Eagles lost out to UCD Marian, while the Celtics put on an impressive performance to earn a 24-point win over Team NorthWest.

Two of the four Limerick basketball sides in action in the National Leagues saw victory last weekend, with both the men’s and women’s Limerick Celtics sides picking up wins.

In the InsureMyVan.ie Division One, Limerick Sport Eagles lost out to UCD Marian, while the Celtics put on an impressive performance to earn a 24-point win over Team NorthWest.

Meanwhile, in the MissQuote.ie Division One, the Celtics women’s team also ran out winners, defeating Oblate Dynamos 69-51, but it was defeat for the Sport Huskies, who narrowly lost to iSecure Swords Thunder by three points in Limerick.
