WATCH: Ard Scoil Rís meet Thurles CBS in the 2010 Harty Cup Final

While Ard Scoil Rís are now recognised as one of the powerhouses in the Dr Harty Cup, back in 2010, the City school had yet to taste victory in the competition.

That year they would reach the decider where they would face Thurles CBS who were eight time winners and defending Munster and All-Ireland chamions.

That Ard Scoil Rís side was brimming with talent including All-Ireland winning captain Declan Hannon, Shane Dowling, Kevin Downes among others who have gone on to represent Limerick and Clare in the senior ranks.

A last hour free would level the score at the final whistle with the sides having to go to a replay.
