WATCH: Determined second half showing sees Limerick to victory over Tipperary

John Kiely’s senior hurlers kept up their 100% record on their return to Division 1A of the Allianz League after a 1-21 to 1-14 win over Tipperary at the Gaelic Grounds.

Traillijng by a point at half time, Limerick out fought and out skilled Tipperary to cruise to their second victory of the campaign.

Diarmaid Byrnes put in a man of the match display at right wing back, helping himself to 0-4, one of the which was a stunning effort from play.

Aaron Gillane also chipped in with 0-9, while Conor Boylan also impressed on his Limerick debut with 0-2. Graeme Mulcahy got Limerick’s only goal on the half hour.

Limerick now have a two week break before their next match Allianz League game against Kilkenny in Nowlan Park on February 17.
