WATCH – Galway progress to meet Limerick in All Ireland final

We’re all set for a Treaty v Tribesmen senior hurling showpiece at Croke Park on August 19th with Limerick looking to end a 45-year drought against the defending champions.

It will be the second meeting of the season between the sides with John Kiely’s overcoming an eight point half-time deficit to defeat Galway and earn promotion to Division 1A of the National Hurling League back in March.

Micheál Donoghue’s side edged out Clare in their semi-final replay clash in Thurles on Sunday on a 1-17 to 2-13 scoreline.

Galway started the game with ferocious intensity and found themselves with a 9-point lead after 21 minutes, however, like the first meeting between the sides the Banner found their way back into the game.
