Conor Murray landed a superb long range penalty in the 66th minute to edge Munster into a two point lead that would ultimately prove enough to win the game and secure a home quarter final.
Murray who came on as a first half substitute for the injured James Hart also accounted for Munster’s only try of the game.
The squad will return to the training field this week ahead of Sunday’s crucial Champions Cup semi final against Racing 92.
