Munster coach Jerry Flannery says that Munster’s away form has been disappointing but says it’s hard to gauge if it is an issue with consistency within the side at this early stage of the season.
The southern province have enjoyed comprehensive victories in their opening two home games but have struggled on the road so far.
“If you look at going from Glasgow to Ospreys. That was a nearly full strength Glasgow team, it was far from a full strength Ospreys team. I can’t really say that we were so bad against Glasgow and we were incredible against Ospreys and we were rubbish against Cardiff. You’re bringing players back at different times so there’s guys getting their first game as well which is going to make it more difficult. It’s about grinding out results at the start and then when you get a little bit more consistency in the team you can look at a consistent performance all the way through.”
