WATCH: Johann van Graan on Connacht’s strengths and his first year at Munster

Munster head coach Johann van Graan has been impressed by his side’s opponents this Saturday since Andy Friend took the reigns at the beginning of this season.

Connacht sit just three points behind Munster in Conference A of the Pro14 and a victory over van Graan’s men will see the western province replace Munster in second place.

“I think their most impressing thing is their kicking game,” said van Graan of Connacht. “They have some real distance kickers and I think their natural phase play is pretty good.

“They are putting teams under pressure and have scored some special tries over the last few weeks. It will be another huge test for us in another Irish derby.”
