WATCH: John Kiely on league loss to Cork and Limerick’s home support

Limerick manager John Kiely is looking for a reaction to his side’s poor performance against Sunday’s opponents Cork in their first game of the Munster SHC at LIT Gaelic Grounds.

Cork inflicted Limerick’s only defeat in Allianz League Division 1 that day and Kiely says that the Treaty were not up to scratch on the day.

“Our performance levels on the day were poor. We were low. We didn’t hit any of our targets and that’s the bottom line.

“We allowed Cork too much time on the ball. When you allow Cork teams too much of the ball they are going to do damage.

“That’s something that we are going to work really hard on. We are going to have to be really busy around the field and put in a hard shift. If you don’t, you are going nowhere.”
