WATCH: JP Ferreira talks using emotion in the right way against Leinster

Munster head into Saturday’s crunch Pro14 game with Leinster on the back of an impressive win over Connacht last time out.

The interpros over the festive period are always tense affairs and sometimes emotions boil over.

Defence coach JP Ferreira says that Munster will be fired up for the game, but he expects his side to use their emotions in the correct manner.

“There is always going to be individual battles, but for us, it’s more about the collective and where we want to go in the season, and what we want to achieve on the day.

“For me, the players need to have fire in their belly and calm heads. I hope they bring that at the weekend.”

Ferreira also gave an insight into the differences between spending Christmas in South Africa where rugby is over for the season and the busy schedule that Munster are currently in the middle of.
