After securing their place in the last four of the Champions Cup last Saturday in Edinburgh, Munster return to domestic action tonight against Cardiff in Cork.
Only days removed from his brace of tries against Edinburgh, Keith Earls spoke about the difficulty of the Cardiff visit who were the last team to beat Munster in Cork and who lie in fourth place in Conference A of the Guinness Pro 14.
“Yeah they were the last team to beat us in Cork. I think they’re level on points with Connacht, fighting for Europe and they’re fighting for the quarter-finals of the Pro 14 as well.”
During the Six Nations, Munster lost top spot in the table to Glasgow and are now just three points behind the Scottish side with three games remaining.
However, the winger is well aware of the threat that the Welsh side possess having defeated Munster 37-13 earlier in the campaign.
“They can match up to you any way. They’re physical, they can run the ball and they have a great kicking game.
We are going to have to bring our A game again.”
