WATCH: Kyle Hayes on victory in ‘titanic battle’ against Cork to set up Tipperary clash

Limerick’s Kyle Hayes was full of praise for the team effort the Limerick side displayed in the game against Cork, ending up on the right side of the 2-22 to 1-17 scoreline.

This win sets up a Munster final clash against Tipperary on the 18th July.

Speaking about his goal, Hayes mentioned the timing being crucial.

They came at crucial times. Just before half-time they were hit with a double bounce and there was Nickie’s save with the penalty as well. It definitely flowed the momentum towards ourselves.

“We’ve worked horrendously hard, everyone in the group has been enjoying that. We’re going as a group, getting better and better.”
