WATCH: Paul Beary lauds “self driven” champions Na Piarsaigh

Na Piarsaigh were crowned Limerick SHC for the 5th time in their 50 year history on Saturday evening as they simply had too much firepower for a quality Doon side.

Speaking to Sporting Limerick after the game Beary spoke of his pride of being part of the club.

“To be bringing the Daly back to our clubhouse tonight, I couldn’t be prouder and that bunch of players inside there couldn’t be prouder either.”

Doon started the first and second halves well with two fine goals but the Caherdavin side didn’t panic and responded well. Beary says his side stuck to their process and didn’t waiver.

“That is something we spoke about all year, that things won’t always go our way, we will have setbacks and it is how you respond to it. We spoke at half time about being a big more clinical in what we were doing.”
