WATCH – Three changes to Limerick senior hurlers for Carlow clash

John Kiely and his selectors have made three changes to the side that lost out to Clare in the Munster Championship.

Richie McCarthy comes into the full back line in place of Sean Finn with William O’Donoghue coming into the midfield for Darragh O’Donovan, while Aaron Gillane wins his place back at corner forward with Shane Dowling dropping to the bench for Limerick’s All Ireland preliminary quarter-final with Carlow.

Na Piarsaigh star O’Donoghue makes his first championship appearance while McCarthy starts his first game of the campaign.

Gillane comes back into the inside forward line, having started on the bench in the loss to Clare.

Peter Casey is named on the bench following a run out with the under 21’s in their Munster semi-final loss to Tipperary.

Throw in on Saturday evening is at 7pm at Netwatch Dr Cullen Park.
