Cheltenham Wednesday Special | Shiskin, Tiger Roll and Envoi Allen all to star the show for Wednesday

A lot more of the top horses are on show at the festival on Wednesday.

After a blockbuster opening day, the Cheltenham Festival is in full swing. Wednesday’s feature race is the Queen Mother Champions Chase with Shiskin the heavy favourite.

Elsewhere today, Sir Gerhard, Chacun pour Soi, Tiger Roll and much more are poised for big days.

Get prepared for the racing with a quick look ahead to each of the seven races below.

Wednesday:

1:30 Ballymore Novices Hurdle:

Sir Gerhard (4/6) is the most impressive horse in the race today, and it is unclear can anyone put it up to him. The two best challengers could be Journey With Me (13/2) ridden by Rachael Blackmore and Gordon Elliot’s Three Stripe Life (13/2).

2:10 Festival Novice’s Chase:

Favorite Bravemansgame (2/1) looks like quiet the competitor to snatch first place in this one. My outside look in could be threeunderthrufive (14/1) who has been on top form recently winning his last four races.

2:50 Coral Cup Handicap Hurdle:

In this race of 26 it is very difficult to call a winner. Saint Felicien (7/1) is the favorite but the two horses that could be worth the look at are Camprond (9/1) and Gowel Road (12/1).

3:30 Queen Mother Champion Chase:

Shiskin (4/5) looks a certainty to be the victor in this race…. until you check out the other talent in this race. Chacun Pour Soi (5/1), Nube Negra (11/1), Envoi Allen (25/1) and Put The Kettle On (28/1). I think the highest prospect at the outside look could be Nube Negra and at (11/1) where could you go wrong.

4:10 The Cross Country Steeplechase:

A winner from last year Tiger Roll (6/4) is the favorite this time round and there is no reason why he can’t go two from two. Brahama Bull (14/1) is an outsider that may have a chance at placing if not challenging the favorite.

4:50 The Grand Annual Chase:

Gordon Elliot’s Buddy Rich (6/1) has one of the best chances in winning this race. Outsider Thyme White (10/1) or Exit Poll (22/1) may be worth a shot given the high odds on the horses.

5:30 The Champion Bumper:

Two of the top horses in the race are going to battle this out Facile Vega (5/4) and American Mike (5/2) may be the best chances at winning this race. Redemption Day (11/2) ridden by Paul Townend may be overlooked for this race.
