Fairview Rangers continued their impressive start to the Limerick District League season with a comprehensive 6-0 victory over Charleville at the Fairgreen on Sunday. Conor Coughlan and Shane Duggan gave Paul Danaher’s side a 2-0 half-time lead before Irish junior international AJ O’Connor who lined out for his country in the win over Wales on Saturday, added a third goal.
Daragh Rainsford, Conor McCormack and Connor Ellis added further goals with six different scorers on the sheet for the table toppers who now face Ballynanty in a huge clash on Thursday night.

Aisling Annacotty made it back to back wins on Sunday with a 0-3 win over Mungret Regional. With the game evenly balanced and heading towards the half-time whistle, former Mungret Regional man Kian Barry scored directly from a corner to put the visitors ahead.
Another returning Irish junior international was on the score sheet when Chris Smith finished from a cormer taken by Tony Whitehead. Michael Curran sealed the victory for John Lysaght’s men when he linked well with fellow substitute Theo Joyce before finishing to the net. Curran also scored four for the B team on Saturday night. Pa Ahern forced a save from goalkeeper Brian O’Connor from a free-kick on a rare chance for Mungret who are still searching for their first win.

Nenagh AFC took a well earned point from Limerick Institute of Technology on Sunday after a 1-1 draw against Ballynanty Rovers. Matthew Spain gave the in-form Tipperary side the lead and they held that lead until the final minutes when Eddie Byrnes managed to grab an equaliser for the home side.
