The Limerick Celtics and Limerick Sport Eagles picked up wins in the Men’s division, as did the Celtics women’s side, but there was a loss for the Sport Huskies.
Three of the four Limerick basketball sides in action in the National Leagues picked up victories over the weekend, continuing what has been a promising start to the season.
In the InsureMyVan.ie Division One, Limerick Celtics picked up a 19-point win over Titans BC, while Limerick Sport Eagles defeated Killarney Cougars, scoring an impressive 107 points.
In the MissQuote.ie Division One, the Celtics women’s team also picked up a victory, getting the better of SETU Carlow, but it was defeat for the Sport Huskies, with St Paul’s Killarney proving too strong for the Shannonside outfit.
