4 Limerick players named on the GAA.ie Team of the Week

Four Limerick Players named on Team of the Week.

Nickie Quaid, Mike Casey, Diarmuid Byrnes and Aaron Gillane have all been named on the GAA.ie Hurling team of the week.

Casey was named on the team after being a stand out player for Na Piarsaigh in the All Ireland Club Hurling Final on Saturday were his defending was top clash against a very good Cuala side.

Quaid, Byrnes and Gillane were outstanding in Limerick’s win over Clare in the Allianz League Division One Quarter-Final on Monday. Quaid pulled off some brilliant saves in goal, while Gillane scored a fantastic goal which saw their side win in a shoot out in the end.
