Lee J Lynch confirms Limerick FC departure

Tommy Barrett will have to go without the services of midfielder Lee J Lynch who has confirmed that he will not be re-signing with Limerick FC for the upcoming SSE Airtricity League season.

Lynch confirmed the news through his instagram account yesterday and thanked the club and supporters as well as wishing them the best for the new season.

The 26-year old resigned for his hometown club in 2015 and spent three seasons with the Superblues and has enjoyed spells at West Bromwich Albion and Hamilton as well as league of Ireland stints with Sligo, St Pats and Drogheda.

Barrett and his new look Limerick side being their campaign with a difficult away trip to Sligo Rovers on February 17th with a 19:45 kick off.
