OLD Crescent RFC have announced a new senior coaching management structure for next season as the Rosbrien club will once again be tipped to go on further that this year and get promotion to 2A.
Brendan Guilfoyle will take the reins from Joe Nix as Head Coach for the 2017/2018 season but will also continue to play for the club.
In a statement, Old Crescent RFC have thanked to Joe Nix for his ‘hard work and commitment to the club over the last three years as Head Coach with the senior side.’
Nix will remain involved with senior rugby at the club, something that Old Crescent are very pleased about.
Eugene McGovern and Brian Tuohy will continue in their roles as Director of Rugby and Backs Coach to the Old Crescent senior team for next term while Tommy Pratt will continue as Chairman of Rugby.
Old Crescent lost this years promotion playoff to Armagh but have been playing an exciting brand of rugby over recent years, something supporters and players will continue again next season as they push to go one better.
