Double header confirmed for Gaelic Grounds on Sunday

Limerick’s senior hurling and camogie teams will take part in a league double header this Sunday.

Both John Kiely’s hurlers and Declan Nash’s camoige side are looking to make it four wins from four in their respective leagues against Cork and Kilkenny respectively.

The camogie team will be up first at 12:15pm on Sunday against a Kilkenny outfit that are also unbeaten from their three games to date. The hurlers then take to the Gaelic Grounds pitch at 2:30pm where they face Cork.

Nash’s charges have beaten Offaly, Clare and Dublin so far in this season’s league campaign and have already booked a quarter final place. The hurlers are on the brink of a knockout spot after victories over Wexford, Tipperary and Kilkenny.
