LISTEN: “We are looking forward to it and have nothing to lose” – Nash

Limerick’s camogie side go into Sunday’s Littlewoods Camogie League game with Kilkenny full of confidence after three wins from their three games to date.

Sunday’s test is a much bigger one than anything they have encountered thus far in 2019.

But manager Declan Nash is embracing the challenge and hoping his charges can play with freedom in the knowledge that a knockout spot is already secured.

“We are looking forward to it to be honest. We have nothing to lose out of it and, again we are just focused on the week ahead of us and the performance.

“We aren’t going to change a whole pile and only keep doing what we are doing. It’s a great test to see where we are.

“Last year, the biggest thing would have been consistency. We always probably had a performance in us on the big days.

Going into Sunday with the three wins and nothing to lose, it’s a case of let’s give it a go and let’s see where we are.”
