FIXTURES: Opening Round of Limerick Senior & Junior Hurling Championship get underway this weekend

With the local hurling action back underway, there’s plenty to get your teeth stuck into around the county.

Curreent champions Na Piarsaigh have won six of the last 10 championships and sit as the 8/15 favourites to succeed again.

In the senior section, there’s four games across the competition with all of the games taking place at the Gaelic Grounds with 500 spectators.

All other club grounds will be capped at 200 supporters this weekend.

Every game is ticketed and they can be purchased online via www.universe.com

There’s a €10 cost and all supporters including children require a ticket.
