Aaron Gillane and Barry Nash named in GAA.ie Hurling Team of the Week after exploits against Offaly

The Limerick All-Star duo make their first appearances on the Team of the Week this year.

Aaron Gillane and Barry Nash have been named on the GAA.ie Team of the Week after helping Limerick to a 24-point win over Offaly on Sunday.

Gillane was in scintillating form, hitting eleven points with 0-7 of that coming from play as the Patrickswell man looked back to his best.

At the other end, Nash continued his excellent early season form and even popped up with a goal that his performance deserved.

Kilkenny dominate the team with four players chosen after they beat Waterford 2-21 to 0-21 to book their League semi-final spot.

Tipperary and Wexford both have two chosen while Laois, Antrim, Clare, Dublin and Armagh have one representative each.
