Munster Hurling Final Terrace Tickets sell out in just 11 minutes

The Munster Senior Hurling Final in Thurles between Limerick and Clare is looking like it will be a sellout.

A first Munster Senior Hurling Championship Final between Limerick and Clare since 1995 has certainly whet the appetite for fans from both counties with tickets selling out at record speeds this morning.

Released this morning at 10am, the 11,000 terrace tickets for the final which will be played in FBD Semple Stadium Thurles sold out in 11 minutes on ticketmaster.

The remainder of the tickets are with the counties and Season Ticket holders.

Clare are seeking a first Munster title since 1998 and finished on top of the Munster championship round robin table, ahead of Limerick on scoring difference.

Limerick have won three Munster titles on the trot, as they aim for a first four-in-a-row since the 1930s.

The sides have already played out a pair of draws this year, including the 0-24 to 1-21 stalemate in Ennis a fortnight ago.

Limerick play Clare in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship Final on Sunday 5 June in Thurles at 4pm.
