Venue change for Ardscoil Rís’ Dr Harty Cup Quarter-Final this Wednesday

The Limerick side will be looking for a second successive semi-final berth after reaching the final last year.

Ardscoil Rís’ Harty Cup quarter-final against Our Lady’s Templemore this Wednesday has been changed to the 4G pitch in UL with the throw-in time of 1.30 pm unchanged.

The sides were originally scheduled to meet in Nenagh in a repeat of the 2017 decider but has been altered owing to poor weather conditions.

It is not the only game to be moved with the clash of Midleton CBS and De La Salle now to be played in Fethard 4G. The venues for the other quarter-finals remain.

Ardscoil Rís v Our Lady’s Templemore Preview

The North Circular Road outfit have a 100% record coming into the game but had to battle through both of their group stage contests, needing a late goal to see off Cashel in the opener before seeing off St Flannans with a 0-12 to 0-10 result.

Ardscoil could face Cashel once more if they both come through their respective quarters, with the Tipperary side meeting CBC Cork in Kilmallock.

Our Lady’s Templemore won two of their three contests thus far with a loss to Thurles CBS sandwiched between victories over Rochestown and Youghal.

The semi-finals will take place on Saturday January 21.
