Limerick’s Munster Hurling League clash with Kerry moved to the weekend

The two sides were scheduled to meet on Tuesday evening in what has become a dead rubber clash.

Munster GAA have confirmed that Limerick’s Munster Hurling League clash with Kerry this Tuesday has been postponed until the weekend.

There is no confirmation on a fixture this weekend but the clash won’t be played on the original date with both teams out of the reckoning following Limerick’s defeat by Cork on Sunday.

The Rebels made it successive wins with a 0-20 to 1-16 result against the reigning champions. That victory followed a 13-point win against Kerry last week.

Last week the fixture was changed from Mick Neville Park to Austin Stack Park in Tralee. The venue is likely to remain the same this weekend.

It will act as Limerick’s final game prior to the start of the National Hurling League where they will once be on their travels to Leeside to face the Rebels.

Limerick haven’t won the League since 2020, which was their second on the trot.

Elsewhere, Cork will meet Tipperary in the Munster Hurling League final this Sunday.
