Limerick name camogie team to face Wexford | TEAM NEWS

Quaid’s side picked up important wins over Kerry and Down in heir opening two league fixture, before suffering defeat at the hands of Dublin and Antrim.

Joe Quaid has named his Limerick camogie side to take on Wexford in Division 1B of the Allianz League on Saturday at 2pm in Mick Neville Park.

There are three Ahane representatives in the starting XV, with Aine Reynolds, Niamh Brennan and Sarah Cosgrove all getting the nod from the off.

Monaleen duo Aoife Nelligan and Caoimhe Lyons also take up starting roles.

Saturday’s opponents Wexford are already guaranteed a place in the final, following an impressive campaign so far.

Gemma Barrett starts in goal, with Nelligan joined by Cliodhna Ryan and Marian Quaid in the full-back line.

Muireann Creamer is named at six, flanked by Orlaith Kelleher and Ciara O’Riordan, with Stephanie Woulfe partnering Caoimhe Costelloe ahead in midfield.

Ailbhe Larkin is named at centre-forward, Reynolds and Brennan offering the support from wide.

Lyons is in the corner, joined by Lizanna Boylan and Cosgrove for this weekend’s clash.
