County Junior Football Championship Launched

This year will mark the second year of the All-County Junior Football Championship in Limerick.

After scrapping the divisional rounds of the championship, the format now follows the Senior and Intermediate championships with twenty teams battling out for the prize.

The championship, which is sponsored by Fitgerald’s Woodland’s House Hotel in Adare, was launched on Monday evening.

There are five teams in each group as follows.

Group 1- Ballybrown, Ballylanders, Cappagh, Cappaghmore & Newcastlewest

Group 2- Drom Broadford, Fr Caseys, Hospital Herbertstown, Knockane & Monaleen

Group 3- Crecora Manister, Kilteely Dromkeen, Croom, Oola & South Liberties

Group 4- Ahane, Ballybricken Bohermore, Bruree, Castlemahon & Monagea.

Ballylanders v Cappamore in Kilteely on July 30 at 7.15pm

Monaleen v Knockane in TBA on July 28 at TBA
