JP McManus raiders dominate the betting for the Galway Hurdle

Today’s feature at the Galway Summer Festival shows six runners in the silks of Limerick owner JP McManus.

Second favourite Tigris River is seen to have the best chance with the bookmakers and is saddled by the in form Joseph O’Brien, while Barry Geraghty takes the ride.

The Gordon Elliott trained Timiyan is next in the betting, while Plate winner Davy Russell is aboard previous winner Thomas Edison, Russell has won the Galway Hurdle twice as a rider. A.P McCoy was on Thomas Edison for his win back in 2014.
