Limerick Minor Hurling panel announced ahead of upcoming Cork clash

The Limerick Hurling panel for the upcoming 2021 Munster minor hurling championship has been announced.

32 have been announced on the panel with Cian Scully being named as captain and Joe Fitzgerald as vice captain.

Both of them were involved in the minor team from last year who are reigning Munster champions, along with Vince Harrington, Tomas Lynch, Shane O’Brien, Liam Dennehy and Con Hayes.

The team start their campaign off against Cork on the 27th July in the Munster semi-final for a 19:30 throw-in at Semple Stadium.

Should the Treaty side win that game, a Munster final against Tipperary or Waterford awaits on 9th August.

The minor team are under a new management team for the campaign with Mungret St. Paul’s Kevin O’Hagan in the hotseat.

Joining him in his backroom staff are Ger Barry of Killeedy, Liam Reale of Hospital-Herbertstown, South Liberties’ Mark Keane & Liam Hammersley from Cappamore.

Darragh Droog of Hagan’s club Mungret St Pauls takes over as S&C coach with goalkeeper coach Aaron Murphy (Hospital-Herbertstown) also involved.
