Limerick name team to play Dublin in League semi final

Limerick hurling manager John Kiely has named his team that will play Dublin in Sunday’s Allianz League Hurling Final in Nowlan Park.

The hurlers are aiming to make the league decider for the first time since 2006 and Kiely has named a strong starting 15.

Nickie Quaid returns in goals in place of Barry Hennessy, with Tom Condon, Sean Finn and Richie English named in the full back line in front of him.

Diarmaid Byrnes, Dan Morrissey and Paddy O’Loughlin make up the Limerick half back line, while Cian Lynch and Darragh O’Donovan take their places in midfield.

The half back forward line contains Gearoid Hegarty, Kyle Hayes and Tom Morrissey.

Aaron Gillane, Peter Casey and Graeme Morrissey complete the Limerick team. The game with Dublin has a 1:30pm throw in and is live on TG4.
