Kerry, Dublin, Galway and Derry await in the All-Ireland quarter-finals.

Limerick are just one win away from their first All-Ireland quarter final since 2011, which was their maiden last eight tie.

On that day they were defeated by Kerry, who were convincing winners in this year’s Munster final.

That preceded wins over Clare and Tipperary, while Cork also lost to Kerry before defeating Louth 2012 to 2-8 over the weekend.

Limerick’s last clash with Cork came in the 2019 Munster semi-final when the Rebels had a comfortable 3-18 to 0-6 win in Pairc Ui Rinn.

Limerick’s previous win over Cork came all the way back in 2003.
