Limerick schools kick off 2022/23 Munster Senior Cup on Wednesday

Limerick school Crescent College Comprehensive enter the competition as defending champions.

The Pinergy Munster Schools Senior Cup returns for the first uninterrupted season since the pandemic began in 2020 this Wednesday with four games to be played across the province.

Defending champions, Crescent College Comprehensive take on Christian Brothers School of Cork in their opener in Group A of the competition.

Last year, they comprehensively defeated PBC in the final in Thomond Park.

In Group B, Ardscoil Rís are the sole Limerick school with the North Circular Road school taking on Rockwell College on Wednesday.

Munster CSP face Bandon Grammar school in the group’s other game with last year’s runners up PBC awaiting for the second round of games.
