Limerick qualified for the knockout stages by virtue of their Round 1 win over Clare before falling to Galway last weekend.

Kilkenny have won each of their games thus far and will be favoured to advance to the semi-finals where Cork and Galway await.

In the other semi-final, Tipperary take on Offaly.

Limerick met Kikenny in the All-Ireland championship last year where they fell to a 2-16 to 0-8 loss in Nowlan Park.
